The NNC hosted a “Question and Answer: Get to know the Met Council” open house before the District Forum at the Northside Urban League. The Met Council is a powerful entity that works with city, county and state governments on livability issues. It was an enlightening time gaining knowledge around the Met Council.
The Northside District 7 forum was the highest attended this year. Many community members were exposed to Met Council for the first time and are looking forward to learning more about who represents us on the Met Council, how they are appointed, and what power does they have?
